Jade Fine Finishing: Custom Wall and Furniture Finishes
Jade Fine Finishing provides high end interior painting, faux finishing, murals and decorative work, and cabinet and furniture finishes. I work with interior designers, contractors, and with individual homeowners to create custom looks for any home or business. I can perform top-to-bottom painting services from preparation to fine finish, or simply come in after the painting crew has done their work and create a unique finish at the end.
Who is Jade Fine Finishing?
Jade Fine Finishing is owned and operated by Erin Jade Human, with six years of professional faux finishing experience, over a decade of high end interior painting experience, and a background in fine art and illustration as well.
After training in high end painting with my father on Martha's Vineyard, studying illustration at Rhode Island School of Design, and earning a BA in Art at Marlboro College in Vermont, I started Jade Fine Finishing in Boston in 2004. In 2006 I moved to Omaha and reestablished my business here in Nebraska.

What Sets Jade Apart?
What makes me different from other faux finishers and decorative painters is my eye for color and ability to totally customize every project. Some painters work out of set portfolios with a limited number of finishes. I can match any finish, real or imagined, solve any design problem, and work with you to create a unique look in your home or place of business. Among my clients I have earned the nickname "Magic" because of my ability to hide flaws and disguise unsightly utilities. Sometimes the most remarkable faux finish is the one you do not see.
I offer a variety of finishes to choose from but will also work with you to make your space unique. If you have saved a magazine photo of your dream kitchen, if you have an old fireplace surround that needs updating or an uninspiring piece of furniture that you want to look special, I can make your vision into a reality, make the old look new (and the new look old!), turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
